
9-Ball Game Rules (Summer)
GAME RULES
Minimum of three (3) players per night on a team
Only one team member can play a maximum of 5 games per night
Maximum of 7 players on a team
9 Ball on the break wins a match
Push shot allowed on the first shot only after the break. *Opponent can take the shot or give it back to the player who played the push*
Two timeouts per game
Same foul rules/ball in hand as our 8 Ball League except for after the break scratch. After the break in 9 ball, if the player scratches, the next player will have ball in hand and does not have to be behind the line.
9 Ball is wild during a match as long as you hit the correct numbered ball first
Balls need to be hit in numerical order
No need to call your shots.
No need to call the 9 ball
If you hit the correct number ball but a different ball goes in the pocket, you continue playing
You cannot play a safe by pocketing another ball
A scratch on the 9-ball is a loss (even on the break).
Rail contact after each shot or foul and ball in hand
Post season can only have previous players who have played at least regular season match.
Three (3) consecutive foul rule will be in effect for each rack/game. If a player receives 3 fouls one after the other in a game, it’s a loss.
